The Urban Commuter Rail for Austin is due to become a reality in 2008. This is going to be a reliable alternative to the traffic congestion in one of the Austin’s fastest growing travel corridors. There will be sleek new trains that will take you to work in comfort and style, providing you with high-back seats, bicycle and overhead racks, and Wi-Fi connections. The trains will run every 30 minutes during morning and evening rush hours, and there will be a midday run as well. The Trains will stop at nine stations between Leander and the Austin Convention Center, making rail service available to you whether you are in the suburbs or the heart of the city.
